Editorial Policy

Lightworks Guide keeps product facts tied to sources and separates recommendations from measured results or individual user reports.

Lightworks Guide aims to help you finish an edit, understand a limit or diagnose a specific problem. Instructions must explain the conditions that affect the answer, with evidence links beside the claims they support.

Sources and recommendations

Version-sensitive product facts are checked against current primary sources. Independent measurements and individual user reports are attributed to their authors. Recommendations explain their criteria and exceptions. Unsupported claims are removed or left out of the advice.

Authorship and assistance

Articles retain the Lucas Bennett byline. AI can assist with research organization, drafting and page checks; it does not establish a product fact, create a real test result or supply an author's biography. The verification process describes the checks behind our guides.

Updates and corrections

A cosmetic edit does not justify a new publication date. When product changes or a factual correction alter the advice, we check affected passages and make the change clear. The corrections policy explains which details help review an error.

Commercial relationships

A commercial relationship must be disclosed where it could affect a recommendation. It does not replace evidence or determine a product claim.
