Corrections Policy

Useful correction reports identify the page, disputed instruction and relevant Lightworks build, plan, platform and media conditions.

A useful correction report identifies the page and the statement or step that needs review. If the issue depends on software behavior, include the Lightworks build, operating system, plan and relevant media details.

How we review a correction

We compare the disputed advice with primary documentation and the evidence supplied. A report of a result remains attributed evidence; we do not present it as our own product test. If an important claim cannot be supported, we qualify it or remove the advice that depends on it.

Changes that affect your workflow

A correction that changes a conclusion or instruction is recorded on the affected guide. Cosmetic edits keep the original publication date. When advice could risk losing a project or media, it is removed or blocked while the evidence is reviewed.
